In our continued efforts to bring quality local entertainment to the island, MULTI Entertainment Organization (Registered Charity #873) will be putting on a gala Comedy Roast in honor of one of Bermuda’s most prestigious entertainment trailblazers, Mr. Gene Steede.
This event will take place at the Fairmont Southampton in The Amphitheater on Sunday, January 9th, 2011. The event will commence at 7PM, with local acts as they ente...rtain the patrons during the dinner portion of the show. VIP Dinner includes a 3 course meal which consists of:
* Bermuda fish chowder w/ black rum & sherry peppers
* Beef Tenderloin & Red Snapper Filet w/ garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, grilled roma tomato, merlot jus & lemon butter sauce
*Bramley Apple Crumble Tart, cinnamon Ice Cream and Calvados Creme Anglaise
Regular ticketed patrons are welcomed to indulge in the bar refreshments during this part of the event, whilst enjoying the sounds of our talented musicians.
Once the dinner show has concluded, a panel of entertainers, both past and present, will honor and “roast” Mr. Steede in comedic style. The highlight of the night will see Mr. Gene Steede himself get a chance to roast the panel, and cap the night off with a performance piece of his own.
Doors open at 6:15 / Dinner show at 7:00 / Roast at 8:30
Regular tickets $65
VIP tickets $150 (includes 3-course dinner, table seating, raffle draw for various door prizes)
